The Chance for Small and Medium Market Radio to Win The War For Revenue

If you are reading this, we have targeted your market as part of our plan to create a consortium made up of 200 small and medium market client stations. We have targeted this "lost sector" of the radio industry for two reasons. Stations that operate in your market size, are the real heart and soul of the industry, and even more important, we have achieved incredible revenue results for clients in markets your size.

Many stations in medium and small markets are achieving net revenue increases of between 5%-20%. These operators are doing what none of the "big boys" have been able to achieve, they are using the Internet to expand their market penetration, client retention and bottom line revenue.

We have concluded that station operators in small and medium markets understand something that their "larger cousins" do not. They know that their success is dependent upon super-serving both their local listeners, and their local advertising clients. They know that becoming the primary source for news, events, information and special offers from their local advertisers translates quickly to their bottom line.

In developing our Internet Revenue and Information Management Solutions for Broadcasters over the past year, we found that almost all medium and small market operators face the same challenges:

  • The need for inexpensive, and effective Revenue Generation Solutions for their stations
  • The need for Tools and Services that emphasize LOCAL commerce and information, and work well with limited staffing and budgets
  • The need to train and assist staff and management in the latest strategies and solutions

  • A list serve/bulletin board for the exchange of ideas between members
  • Sales and Marketing seminars with Owner/Management workshops on the latest solutions
  • Group Advertising Rates for Trade Publications
  • Centralized "Help Wanted" and Staffing database
